Board meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 7pm and are open to the public. Board meetings take place at PATV 206 Lafayette Street in Iowa City. PATV’s Board of Directors is a nine-person volunteer board. Each member serves a three-year term and may serve up to two terms. Previous boards appoint six members of a given year’s board and three are elected by the general membership. The board creates policies for PATV, which are implemented by PATV’s executive director. The director also gathers information and suggestions from the staff, interns, volunteers and producers, and relays them to the Board.

PATV hosts an electronic Community Bulletin Board for local events and information about non-profit organizations in the Iowa City/Coralville area. If you have a gig, lecture, recital, reading, fundraiser, workshop, art opening, or any other event you’d like listed, drop off, mail or email your press release to us.
Your press release should clearly state the name of the event, sponsoring organization, time and day of event, location, short description, and phone number, web address, or email where more information can be obtained. Sorry, we cannot list ticket prices.
We also host calls for volunteer and community special services that are ongoing.
The Community Bulletin Board can be seen for a full hour between 6am and 7am daily, and briefly at various times throughout the cablecast day.
This is our standard event listing format:
Organization Name presents
Title of Event (brief description)
on Date @ Time
for more information call Phone Number
or email Address
If you’d like to email us an event to be listed, it can be sent to

Whether you want to submit a video you’ve made on your own, or make use of PATV’s equipment and facilities to produce your video, the first step is to take our free Guidelines workshop. Our workshop coordinator will cover any questions you have and help you find the best way to make your video, animation, documentary, movie, or show a reality. Next the workshop coordinator will cover all the rules and regulations for making or submitting a video at PATV. View PATV’s Guidelines Booklet.
