Comedian Nathan Timmel talks about his new book, life as a stand-up comic, what leads people to pursue a career in comedy, how what’s “funny” changes over time, the less than glamorous life on the road that any touring comedian faces, and what it’s like entertaining troops stationed over seas in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Nathan will be hosting the 3rd Annual Comedy for Charity event in conjunction with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation to help raise money for the fight against childhood cancer on Saturday, December 3rd, at the Summit in Iowa City.
