BOARD OF DIRECTORS:
Board meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 7pm and are open to the public. Board meetings take place at PATV 206 Lafayette Street in Iowa City. PATV’s Board of Directors is a nine-person volunteer board. Each member serves a three-year term and may serve up to two terms. Previous boards appoint six members of a given year’s board and three are elected by the general membership. The board creates policies for PATV, which are implemented by PATV’s executive director. The director also gathers information and suggestions from the staff, interns, volunteers and producers, and relays them to the Board.
STAFF:
Josh
Josh Goding has been PATV’s Executive Director since April of 2004. From 1999, Josh served as PATV’s Head of Equipment. Goding helped produce such PATV classics as “Underground LIVE”, “Funzville”, “The Chins”, and the “Mad Hatter” specials. In his spare hours he enjoys bicycling, playing guitar (poorly), and eating pizza.
Emily
Emily Ashenfelter is a programmer at PATV. She joined the staff in 2002 after receiving her degree in Media Studies and Film from the University of Iowa. In addition to videomaking, she plays piano and violin and occasionally attempts to juggle.
