Hello, recently I sang with a local guitarist who has many years of experience writing his own materials. What came out from this musical collaboration is a recording that I feel very poetic that perhaps, an element of visual art could be incorporated into it. I'd like to learn how to make this happen. Perhaps I'm still forming the exact idea how this is going to work for me. Is IPTV a good place to start at this time? Please advice.

Regards, Shaun

I am interested in making a film? Would this be a project that PATV could help me with? Equipment? What is the minimum training required?

Thanks for the question. PATV's a great place for anybody in the community to come learn TV production. Whether you want to start your own show or volunteer as crew for somebody else's, there are always opportunities for new producers. Guidlelines is the free introductory course for all new producers here, and typically takes place the 1st Sunday of the month. Give us a call (319) 338-7035 and we'll get you signed up!

I am in my mid 40s and have always wanted to learn and work in television/radio. I have a strong customer service, sales, and management background, and currently work for the hacap organization a well known non for profit community resource. As I stated, this has always been a dream of mine. Where would a person like myself start??
