As a loyal Hawkeye fan, I feel it’s high time coach Ferentz becomes more involved in calling the offensive plays, especially in the red zone. Coach O’keefe seems to lack the imagination needed to capitalize on a scoring situation. His predictability definitely gives our opponets a definite edge in setting their defenses.
Keep up the good work guys!
I appreciate the optimism and solid Hawkeye spirit. Best to leave the mudslinging to the likes of Barry and I. Obviously I agree with the O’Keefe factor and I’ll raise you the :52 seconds we left on the clock with time outs in the bag and 4 downs to go. The way we’ve been winning all season, at least taking a shot would have made sense. Instead, we took a knee.
Stross and Murray aside, it was that coaching error that sealed our fate.
Nonetheless, great rookie appearance by JV who will be much fun to watch in coming years, and a great episode of Roll on Iowa!
I have a baby and already am being replaced! I can’t and won’t let that happen. I will be back stronger than ever next week. Great show guys.
