The Great Flood of ‘08

PATV is currently closed due to the floods; we’ve been very lucky so far and it looks like we may just be able to get through this and stay dry, though one hates to jump the gun on a statement like that. Most all of PATV’s gear has already been moved to higher ground, in the event that the building does start to take on water. If not & all goes well, we may be able to have the center reassembled and reopened for business as early as Monday the 23rd.

In the meantime, if you have series tapes or DVDs to drop off for playback you can leave them in our mailbox, which we’ll be checking at least once a day.

Check back here for updates and info. and we’ll be sure to keep you informed as the news develops. Thanks for your support and patience, and stay dry!

UPDATE: We’ve begun the reconstruction, and should be mostly re-assembled and open for business Monday the 23rd!

  1. Happy to hear so far so good. We’re in Honduras getting this amazingly unusual news….how about the building across the street on Lafayette with the cabinets and the glass? Did the water make it up to their doors or building? I assume the construction site is under, but my friends are in those buildings and we pray for their welfare.

Hello. Thankfully, most all of Lafayette remained dry. The water got to less than half a block south of the street, but then finally began to recede before getting there. Hooray!!!
