Public Access Television of Iowa City has begun hosting artist exhibits as a gallery. The first exhibit, Nature’s Logic, will be displayed from April 16, 2008 to June 30, 2008 with a reception for artist Holly Berkowitz on May 1, 2008 from 7pm to 9pm. The public is invited.
PATV (Cable Channel 18) in Iowa City trains residents of the area to produce TV shows by residents for broadcast on cable television.
The first art exhibit, Nature’s Logic, will be displayed between April 16, 2008 and June 1, 2008 at Public Access Television, 206 Lafayette Street in Iowa City, Iowa. Nature’s Logic will feature photos and videos by local artist and producer, Holly Berkowitz in a fine art style that documents acuity of sounds and images of nature for reflection. Since 1996 she has produced Nature’s Logic, a weekly television series which airs Friday evenings and Saturday mornings. She works in the mediums of black-and-white, digital photography and video and will exhibit stills and art in motion.
Interested parties should contact PATV if they would like information about opportunities to underwrite a program at PATV or exhibiting in the gallery.
